Arrow knife
KAI MEDICAL developed the Arrow Knife in co-operation with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rupert Menapace (Medical University of Vienna, Austria) to create a tunnel without a pre-cut.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bevel-up edge grinding creates a straight to slightly frowned tunnel entry without a pre-cut. Inner trumpet-shaped incision/segment avoids corneal lip overextension, and the shortened outer parallel-walled incision/segment allows better instrument manoeuvrability. A longer than wide corneal tunnel with an intact corneal lip will provide maximum self-sealing properties even when left unhydrated. The anti-glare finish prevents reflection in surgery.INTENDED USE
